The Andover Knights of Columbus joins Lazarus House Ministries every Christmas season by sponsoring 3-5 families, approximately 25 family members. We sponsor donations and gift giving to bring the joy of Christmas to families that otherwise would be unable to have presents. More information about this program is available here: Lazarus House Project Bethlehem.

Our Council supports the Knights of Columbus Charities' food drive that ensures families have adequate access to nutritious food. We collect food donations and monetary gifts for the Food for Families Program. Member Knights help coordinate donations at our local Parish, collect donations, and deliver them. For more information about this program: Knights of Columbus Food For Families Program.

Each Lent, the Andover Knights of Columbus sponsor a Lenten Fish Bake series and also support a Stations of the Cross Program.  Both programs take place on Fridays in lent.  Typically, we host/support these events on the first, third, and fifth Friday of lent.  The event invites families to meditate on the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ while also keeping the lenten tradition of fasting and abstaining from meat on Fridays.  The remembrance of the Lord's passion and the fasting and abstinence are opportunities to grow closer to our faith and in doing so closer to our church.  The Lenten Fish Bakes provide a community spirit where this closeness to church and God becomes closeness to parish and parish community.

Once a year, our parish celebrates its patron Saint, Holy Father Augustine.  A special mass of celebration is held followed by a Festival on one of the Parish Properties.   Member Knights volunteer on the organizing committee, help with setup and breakdown of the event, and a team of brothers manages the entire cookout.  By end of the festival, we serve around 200 hamburgers and 150 hotdogs.

Members of our council volunteer at Lazarus House's Soup Kitchen.  They are happy to speak with any member who would like to join them on a trip to the Soup Kitchen or become a regular volunteer.

The Andover Knights of Columbus join other area councils in support of the Annual Special Field Games.  We provide funds, logistical support, volunteers, and join Assembly 393's color corps.
