Members of our council shape the future of our towns. We are proud of our fellow knights that serve in local leadership and service roles. Members of our Knights serve on elected and appointed town boards, on town party committees, on the governing boards of various charities and non-profits, etc.
The Andover Knights of Columbus enthusiastically support many of the programs of Lazarus House. Our member knights volunteer at the Lazarus House Soup Kitchen, serve in various capacities on Lazarus House's boards, donate money to the shelter (including buying beds for the shelter in 2017), and promote/participate in various events such as Project Bethlehem. The Andover Knights of Columbus joins Lazarus House Ministries every Christmas season by sponsoring 3-5 families, approximately 25 family members. We sponsor donations and gift giving to bring the joy of Christmas to families that otherwise would be unable to have presents. More information about this program is available here: Lazarus House Project Bethlehem.
Our council supports and promotes the welfare of veterans. We are proud to fulfill the Patriotic principle of our order by celebrating those who chose to serve.
The Andover Knights actively support the Run For the Troops program, with member knights serving on its organizing committee, running in the 5k, serving food at the breakfast that follows, and attending their fundraising dinner. Every year, the Andover Knights of Columbus participate in all parades held in the Town. Members of the Assembly 393 Color Corps join our member knights and their families in the parades.
